Cake is more than just sugar and flour to me; it is a canvas for your stories. Here is a look at the techniques and the passion that go into every piece from my Malleswaram studio.

I work with a variety of mediums to achieve the perfect look and taste for your cake. This includes different types of buttercream, rich chocolate ganache, and versatile fondant, each chosen for its unique properties.

Over the years, I've dedicated myself to mastering a diverse set of skills. This graphic highlights some of my key specialities, including detailed fondant modeling, delicate buttercream florals, and hand-painting on cakes.

A continuation of my skills showcase. I also specialize in creating lifelike sugar flowers from gumpaste, intricate royal icing designs on cookies, and clean, creative fondant work to bring any theme to life.

About Meet the Artists: Our Skills & Story

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to cake mediums. Depending on the design and our Bangalore weather, I select between American buttercream, stable meringue-based frostings, rich ganache, or fondant. Each material behaves differently, and I choose mine to ensure your cake stands tall and tastes exactly the way you want.

When I started Cake It Easy back in 2013, I wanted to move beyond basic designs. I spent years teaching myself the nuances of fondant art, figurine sculpting, and hand-painting, all to ensure I could execute the specific visions my clients bring to me. My studio in Malleswaram is where this experimentation happens, whether it is crafting a traditional Seemantham theme or a complex, character-driven birthday cake.

My approach is to keep things honest and practical. If you are not a fan of fondant, I use cookies or chocolate toppers to get the same visual impact without the texture you might dislike. I also geek out over the technical side of things, like constructing internal armatures to keep tall figures upright or mixing the perfect shade of skin tone for a custom topper.

I handle everything myself, from the initial sketches to the final piping. This means when you order, you are working directly with the person who is making your cake. Because I produce everything for pick-up in Malleswaram, I place a high priority on structural integrity. I will always advise you on how to transport your cake safely, especially in our summer heat, so it arrives looking exactly as it did when it left my counter.
