About My Baking Process
When I work on your cake, it always starts with a simple sketch. Whether it is a character from your favorite anime or just the right shade of pink for a floral design, I build the structure first to make sure the final result feels like 'you.' I mostly use buttercream for that smooth, delicious finish, but if you want intricate figurines, I will bring in the fondant to make sure every detail pops just the way you imagined.
How Your Cake Comes to Life
Every cake I bake in my Malleshwaram kitchen is a little adventure, and I love having you as a co-pilot. Here is the process we usually follow:
1. Sharing the Vibe It all starts with a chat. You tell me the occasion—whether it is a first birthday, a cheeky anniversary surprise, or just a Tuesday treat—and we lock in the style. Are we going for a minimalist vintage look with frills, or something loud and quirky with hand-drawn characters?
2. The Sketch & Plan I am a bit of a nerd about details. Once we have a theme, I plan out the colors and the layout. If it involves a custom drawing, I sketch it out first to ensure the proportions are perfect before it hits the cake. This is where the 'magic' happens, ensuring your inside joke or favorite fandom translates perfectly into edible art.
3. The Build I bake everything fresh, keeping my sponges moist and flavorful. I prefer Swiss or American buttercream for the main finish because it tastes so much better, and I save fondant for the accents that need to hold their shape, like little teddy bears or custom toppers.
A Little Heads-Up Since everything is handcrafted, I need a little time to give your cake the attention it deserves. Please reach out at least a week before your event. This allows me to order any special materials, plan the design, and bake without rushing. I deliver across Bengaluru, so let's get planning!
