Inside the Box Photography Sessions

This isn't just one photo, but a 3x3 grid of nine individual shots that I stitch together to look like you are all sharing the same space. Because each person is photographed separately inside the white box prop, we do not need everyone to sit still at the exact same moment, making it perfect for energetic toddlers or larger groups who find it difficult to pose together.

The 'Inside the Box' technique is all about post-production magic combined with playful interaction. During the session in my Akshayanagar studio, we take a series of individual or duo shots, often using props like balloons or signs that appear to pass from one box to another in the final composite.

I handle the heavy editing required to stitch these nine frames into a seamless 3x3 grid. It creates a quirky, visually striking final image that looks like you are all trapped in a giant toy box.

This format is popular for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, or simply capturing a group of best friends. It works best for groups of up to five people. Since the final master image is designed for large framing, I ensure the white balance and alignment are perfect across all nine individual shots.
