Competitive Swimming and Advanced Training
Forget easy laps. This is where you push for speed, master your turns, and train like a pro in a semi-Olympic heated pool. If you want results, keep reading.
This is how we train. No easy laps. I push you to be faster and stronger every single session. Go! Go! Go! Kick, kick, kick!
This is the result of hard work. I am proud to see my student win a bronze medal at the State Swimming Championship. My training is not just about speed, it is about racing smart to win.
A powerful race start is critical. I teach you the proper diving technique from a professional starting block to get you ahead of the competition from the very first second.
I watch every lap. I am there on the poolside to correct your form and push your limits. This video shows me observing a student's dive and initial strokes during a night session.
Perfecting your backstroke is about power and rhythm. Here, I am working with a swimmer to improve her arm rotation and kicking tempo for maximum speed.
This is your training ground. A semi-Olympic, heated indoor pool with marked lanes and starting blocks, just like a real competition venue. We train here all year round.
About Featured
A fast race starts the moment you dive. At my academy, we drill your starts from professional blocks until your reaction time is sharp and your entry is clean. You will practice your dive and underwater phase on repeat because that is where races are won.
Training Intensity
There are no shortcuts here. I run sessions that focus on endurance and sprint intervals rather than just swimming back and forth. You will use kickboards and pull buoys to isolate your muscle groups, ensuring your stroke is powerful and efficient. Whether you are working on your butterfly mechanics or backstroke rhythm, expect detailed feedback on every lap.
The Facility
We train at the GD Goenka school in Sector 48. You get access to a semi-Olympic, heated indoor pool that stays at 26C to 29C, so you train the same way in winter as you do in summer. With marked lanes and professional starting blocks, the setup mimics a real competition environment. This allows us to run mock races and time trials to track your personal bests.
My Approach
I am N.I.S. qualified, and I watch every swimmer on deck. I do not just teach you to swim, I teach you to race. If you are sloppy with your turns or lazy with your kick, I will correct it until it is perfect. Seedha chalo (go straight) is not just a command, it is how you keep your line and maintain speed. If you are serious about winning, bas, start karo.
