Technical Curriculum
- Foundations: Blow-drying techniques (in-curl/out-curl), backcombing, and heat styling basics.
- Bridal Expertise: Traditional buns, donut placement, fixing heavy accessories (Matha Patti, Passa), and dupatta pinning.
- Advanced Styling: Hollywood waves, textured braids, sleek runway looks, and avant-garde creative styling.
- Extensions: Application basics for clip-in extensions.
Career Assets & Business Training
- Portfolio Shoot: Professional studio photoshoot with models and lighting to create a 24-fold digital work portfolio.
- Business Skills: Training on rate cards, client management, and social media growth for stylists.
Additional Mandatory Costs
- Student Kit: Students must purchase their own tools (approx. INR 25,000 to 30,000 market value).
- Required Items: Professional dryer (2500W+), curling tongs, titanium straightener, real hair mannequin head, and consumables like Schwarzkopf sprays.

Who We Are
At Bombay School Of Makeup & Hair, I don’t believe in shortcuts or magic formulas. You want to get into professional hairstyling? I’ll show you what it really takes. My course isn’t just about the glam - it’s about building serious skills, making mistakes, and figuring out your style.
What You’ll Learn
- Bridal hair styling skills: From classic updos to modern cocktail looks, I teach you the tricks for every shaadi (wedding) and event. Yes, including those tricky hair accessories.
- Editorial hairstyling techniques: You’ll get hands-on with slick buns, push-back styles, textured waves, even creative braids like bubble braids. I’ll show you how to get those magazine looks without losing your mind.
- Avant-garde and fantasy stuff: We experiment - unconventional materials, wild headgear, sculpted wet looks. Not every style will suit everyone, but you’ll know how to build a statement look from scratch.
Real Learning, No Nonsense
- My approach? Practical, not just theory. You’ll do, not just watch.
- I go from bilkul basics (absolutely from scratch) to pro-level work. Even if you’ve never sectioned hair before, you’ll get there.
- Portfolio building for hairstylists: You’ll design mood boards, direct shoots, and walk out with a portfolio that actually shows your skills.

Courses are led by me, Maya Pandey, and other working celebrity artists. We’re here to push you, guide you, and share the stuff they don’t put in books. Some days are tough, but you’ll finish with confidence and a genuine pro certificate.
