About Meet Your Mentor
I do not believe in teaching theory from a textbook that hasn't changed in years. My classes are designed to replicate the pressure and pace of a real professional shoot, meaning you will handle everything from difficult bridal clients to complex editorial briefs under my direct supervision long before you ever step onto a set on your own.
A No-Nonsense Approach
At Bombay School of Makeup & Hair, we strip away the fluff. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, my courses are built on a simple philosophy: you learn by doing, not by watching.
Why this mentorship matters
You get 140+ hours of intense, hands-on training at our Juhu facility. We don't spend days on theory videos. Instead, you'll be on your feet with brushes in hand, practicing on real skin and mannequins. You'll master essential bridal work—handling heavy accessories like Matha Pattis and Passas—as well as high-fashion techniques like avant-garde hair and graphic liner work.
Your portfolio is your resume
Many students finish courses with a certificate but no proof of skill. With me, you leave with a professional digital portfolio containing 24 high-quality looks. We walk you through mood boards, lighting, and art direction, so you know how to command a set.
Business beyond the brush
The art is only half the battle. I also focus on the business side of being an artist—how to price yourself, manage difficult client expectations, and build a brand on social media. This is the stuff they don't put in textbooks, but it is exactly what you need to survive and thrive in the Mumbai industry.
Bombay School Of Makeup & Hair
I'm Maya Pandey, and I've spent years working in the industry to learn exactly what makes a makeup artist stand out. My classroom is where I pass that on to you—no fluff, just raw skills and the confidence to own your kit. If you're ready to stop guessing and start creating, you're in the right place.
