Commercial Gym Interiors: Robur Fitness Hub Project
We transformed a raw commercial space into Chennai's largest fitness destination, Robur Fitness Hub, in just 45 days with custom zones and branded design.
The first impression matters. The reception at Robur Fitness Hub features a sleek, minimalist desk, wood-paneled back wall, and the gym's logo, setting a professional and modern tone the moment members walk in.
The weight training area is defined by bold, circular LED lighting that creates a dramatic and focused atmosphere. The dark flooring and ceiling contrast with the equipment, making the space feel modern and serious about fitness.
The cardio section features a line of treadmills against a wall of mirrors, maximizing light and space. We installed geometric overhead lighting to add a contemporary design element to this functional workout zone.
In this section of the gym, we used a textured orange pillar as a vibrant accent piece. It adds a splash of color and visual interest among the professional-grade weight machines and custom wall graphics.
To enhance the gym's energetic vibe, we created a dedicated DJ area. The design incorporates an industrial-style brick accent wall and a backlit brand logo, creating a focal point that energizes the entire workout floor.
The gym's cafeteria is designed to be a cool-down spot. It features a custom, high-energy graphic wall with comic-book style art, a simple wooden countertop, and warm pendant lighting for a relaxed yet stylish feel.

When we took on the Robur Fitness Hub project, the goal was to create more than just a workout floor. We needed to build a high-energy environment that supported the brand's identity while maximizing utility. We divided the vast space into specialized zones—a cardio area with mirror walls to amplify light, a weight training section with dramatic circular lighting, and a relaxing cafeteria for post-workout recovery.
Industrial Meets Functional
We utilized an industrial design language to keep the space feeling raw and powerful. We installed open, painted industrial ceilings to give the gym height and character, paired with custom-built geometric shelving that acts as both storage and art. The integration of high-impact graphics and backlit logos ensures the brand remains visible from every corner of the facility.
