Unlike my graphite work, these pieces require artist-grade watercolors and 300 GSM cold-press paper to hold that glow. I use white gouache for the fine highlights on jewelry and eyes, which gives them that pop you see in the images. It is all about capturing the right mood and color palette before I finalize the details.
