The Construction
When we work on a corset-style or fish-cut piece, the foundation is everything. I use internal boning for waist shaping and heavy-duty lining to give the silhouette its volume. Whether it is a raw silk lehenga with a 3-meter flair or a sleek lycra drape, I ensure the internal structure—cups, fused bodice, and zippers—is finished to perfection. This is why I insist on multiple fitting sessions.
The Process
We typically need 20 to 35 days from the first sketch to the final fitting. I like to keep things transparent:
- Consultation: We discuss colors, fabric, and the 'vibe' you want.
- Trials: Expect at least two, sometimes three, physical trials. If an idea needs to change midway, we change it.
- Handwork: All the 3D floral appliqué, sequins, and cut-dana work are done by my team, ensuring quality that holds up even on the dance floor.
Why No Discounts?
People often ask if there is a discount. My answer is always that the value is in the art. Every stitch involves real hours from my artisans, and cutting corners to lower a price would mean cutting the quality of the fabric or the embroidery density. I would rather make an outfit that you feel amazing in for years than one that fits into a generic price bracket.
