Get a glimpse into my creative world, featuring everything from intricate bridal portraits to the happy faces of students learning the art of mehndi.
This is the kind of detailed portrait work you can learn to create. We focus on getting the expressions and bridal details just right, making each design a personal story for the bride and groom.
This is us. My class is not just about learning, it's about having fun together. We have a lot of "masti" while we practice, because enjoying the art is the most important part of learning it.
Look at the beautiful work my students have done. Everyone starts at a different level, but with practice, they all create such unique and lovely designs. I am so proud to see their progress.
In my advanced classes, we learn to create divine figures like Shiv and Parvati. This requires a lot of patience and skill in shading and line work, and I will teach you the techniques to master it.
Practice is everything. Here you can see my students working together on a full bridal leg mehndi design. This is how we learn, by doing it for real and helping each other improve.
Nothing makes me happier than a happy client. This is Khushi, who was thrilled with her engagement mehndi. Hearing her say it was the best experience makes all the hard work worth it.
This is a complex Jharokha-style bridal design. We learn how to build these architectural elements and intricate figures, creating a full story on the hand. It's a challenging but very rewarding style.
The final color of the mehndi is so important. I teach my students about using good quality henna and aftercare techniques to get this beautiful, deep, and long-lasting stain.
About Featured
You will notice the deep, dark stain in my photos—that is not just luck. In every class I conduct, I focus heavily on the specific aftercare steps and quality checks for the henna paste to ensure that beautiful, lasting colour every client wants, not just a surface-level design.
Whether you are here to book an artist for your wedding or you are looking to learn the craft yourself, this gallery is a look into my daily work. My journey with mehndi is about balancing the art with the real, practical side of the profession.
For the Brides
I specialize in custom bridal designs that tell a story. From full-hand layouts and heavy feet patterns to hyper-realistic portraits of the bride and groom, I focus on capturing the emotions of the wedding day. Whether it is Jharokha-style architecture or detailed figures like Radha-Krishna, I ensure every element has depth and precision.
For Aspiring Artists
Teaching is where I find my true balance. I don't just show you how to hold a cone. We work on the foundation: pressure control, straight lines, and the patience needed to build a design from scratch. We sit together, we make mistakes, we laugh, and we fix them. My classes are structured to take you from a total beginner who has never touched a cone, to someone comfortable with full-hand bridal patterns and advanced face mapping.
It is not always easy work—it requires hours of practice and yes, some back pain—but the reward is creating art that stays with people. If you are in Delhi NCR and ready to put in the mehnat, let's learn together.
Beena Mehandi Art
I am Beena, and for me, mehandi is meditation. I spend my days either creating intricate bridal stories on hands or teaching students how to handle a cone with confidence.
