About Bridal & Portrait Designs (Advanced Workshop)
In this workshop, we focus on moving beyond standard patterns. You will get hands-on training for complex portrait mapping, specifically focusing on facial proportions and the fine shading needed for realistic figures like Radha Krishna or Shiva Parvati. We spend dedicated time on pressure control drills, ensuring your lines remain crisp even when you are working on the dense, heavy motifs required for professional bridal mehndi.
Learning the art of mehndi is a journey of patience and steady hands. Whether you are starting from zero or looking to perfect your portrait work, my courses are designed to give you real, usable skills.
What we cover
We start with the basics of coneology and paste preparation. A good design fails if the paste consistency is wrong, so we teach you how to mix your own. From there, we move into:
- Bridal Architecture: Creating balanced, full-hand layouts that tell a story. This includes drawing wedding scenes, jharokha patterns, and complex figure placements.
- Portrait Mastery: This is the heart of my advanced class. You will learn face mapping for bride and groom portraits, deities, and custom figures. We focus on depth and texture to make figures look alive.
- Speed and Neatness: Being an artist is one thing, but being a commercial artist requires speed. I teach you the drills I use to maintain neatness even when the clock is ticking.
