About Divine Portraits: Gods & Goddesses
Getting a portrait done takes patience, and it's different from standard mehandi. For these designs, I sit with you for about 1.5 to 2 hours because the fine lines on the eyes, jewelry, and expressions need a very steady hand. I use a special fine-tip cone to ensure the faces look clear and recognizable, not just a blur on your palm. It's not just about speed; it's about making sure the deity looks peaceful and beautiful on your skin.
I believe my faith is the secret behind every line I draw. Whether it's a Sawan special with a Shivling and Trishul or a Janmashtami portrait of Bal Gopal, I put my heart into capturing the essence of the deity.
My Process
I always start with a light sketch to map out the facial features, then build the surrounding patterns like jharokha (window) frames or lotus motifs to complement the portrait. This makes the design look complete and balanced.
Perfect for Weddings & Festivals
These aren't just for religious events. Many brides now ask for deities on their palms as a blessing for their new journey. I can integrate names, wedding dates, or even personal mantras into the surrounding filler patterns to make it truly yours.
A Note on Aftercare
Since these are premium portrait designs with dense detailing, I personally apply a lemon-sugar sealant once the mehandi dries. This helps lock in that dark, deep stain you want for your big day.
If you have a specific deity or story in mind, tell me. I love a challenge, and I will make sure we capture it perfectly on your hands.
