Authentic Basketball Choreography & Film Training
We bring real-game intensity to the screen. From designing authentic hoops sequences for major films to training actors for sports scenes, we ensure the action looks as grounded as the game itself.
We are thrilled to have provided the sports choreography for the Aamir Khan Productions film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. This official trailer showcases the powerful story and the authentic basketball sequences we designed to bring the on-screen action to life. Our goal was to make every dribble and every shot a believable part of the narrative.
Here is a behind-the-scenes look at our team on the set of 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. This video shows our coaches working directly with the actors, crew, and director R.S. Prasanna to choreograph the basketball scenes. This hands-on process is how we ensure every movement is authentic to the sport.
Meet our founder and head coach, Sylvan Desmond, the lead basketball choreographer for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. He led our team in training the cast and designing all the sports sequences, bringing his expertise in both professional coaching and on-screen choreography to the project.
We were proud to choreograph the basketball sequences for the Amazon Prime original series, 'Big Girls Don't Cry'. This project allowed us to apply our sports choreography skills to a different narrative, helping to build a believable world for the characters in this popular boarding school drama.
This is our coaching philosophy in action. The video shows our hands-on training methods, including specialized drills for young athletes and children with special needs. We focus on fundamental skills like dribbling, shooting, and footwork, adapting our approach to help every individual find their potential.
We want to introduce you to Coach Rohit Kanojiya, a key member of our coaching team for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. His patience and expertise were instrumental in training the young actors, proving our belief that with the right guidance, everyone can be a champion on the court.
Giving back to the community is at the core of what we do. This flyer is for our free basketball training program for underprivileged children in Mumbai, a weekly session where we share our love for the game and provide access to quality sports coaching for everyone.
About Featured
We do not just teach actors how to hold a ball. We build the mechanics of real basketball, including dribbling, shooting, and game awareness, so that when the director calls action, the movement feels natural and believable. Whether it is a film shoot or a series production, we coordinate the play to sync perfectly with your camera angles, maintaining continuity and player safety throughout.
Our work in sports choreography is built on the same foundation as our academy: coaching that respects the sport and the players. When we designed the basketball sequences for 'Sitaare Zameen Par', we weren't just filling the frame. We trained over 120 children with intellectual disabilities, adapting our drills to ensure every shot and dribble was authentic to their potential. This is our version of 'Sabka Apna Apna Normal'—making sure the storytelling is as real as the game.
How We Support Your Production
- Pre-Production Planning: We review scripts to determine the feasibility of sports sequences, sketching game plays, and assessing safety risks for insurance and on-set welfare.
- Actor Bootcamp: We provide 1-on-1 sessions for lead actors, focusing on stance, form, and the repetitive drilling needed to make an actor look like an athlete on camera.
- On-Set Direction: Our team (led by Sylvan Desmond) manages continuity. We track scoreboards, monitor sweat levels, and coordinate background players to ensure the environment looks like a real match, not a rehearsal.
Based in Bandra and serving all of Mumbai, we handle everything from basic skill development to complex on-set coordination. If you need sports scenes that drive your story rather than just filling time, we bring the court to your production.
