Our fosters, who are busy professionals ranging from engineers to designers, spend their evenings socializing kittens and managing their health. This means that when you adopt, you are bringing home a cat that already knows how to be a family member, not one stressed by shelter life.
How Our Cloud Shelter Works
We operate as a decentralized, city-spanning network. Without a physical building or cages, we rely entirely on our 'foster paw-rents' across Bengaluru. This model allows cats to recover from trauma or abandonment in a stable, domestic environment. Whether it is a tiny bottle-fed kitten or a senior cat recovering from surgery, they get the 24/7 care and socialization that only a home can provide.
The Human Side of Rescue
Bangalore Cat Squad is built on the hustle of our volunteers. We are doctors, teachers, and coders who manage demanding day jobs while handling vet runs, adoption camps, and late-night rescue calls. We believe that if you have the heart to help, we can find a way for you to contribute. You do not need to be a vet to make a difference; you just need to be willing to learn and lend a hand.
