About Traditional Plate & Prop Arrangements
I use my own collection of silver elephants, peacocks, and Lakshmi dolls to elevate your seer varisai or fruit trays. You provide the sweets and fruits, and I handle the artistic placement, ribbons, and floral accents to ensure everything looks balanced, traditional, and premium.
When planning a traditional South Indian ceremony in Bangalore, the details on your offering tables often serve as the main focal point for guests. My approach is to move away from standard plastic displays and create something that feels sacred and well-thought-out.
How I Work
I treat every tray as a canvas. Whether it is a naming ceremony, a bangle function, or a full-scale wedding, I bring a specific set of props to the venue.
- The Props: I rely on detailed silver-finish statues—cows, elephants, swans, and peacocks—that act as holders or centerpieces for your fruit and sweets.
- The Dolls: My signature Lakshmi doll setups are designed to fit the scale of your event, adding a blessing touch to the arrangement.
- The Assembly: I handle the setup on-site. This includes the ribbon work, floral edging with fresh jasmine or rose petals, and ensuring that even the smallest trays look cohesive with your main stage theme.
Practical Details
- What you provide: The fruits, sweets, snacks, and any specific seer varisai items.
- What I provide: The ornate silver/brass trays, doll figurines, animal props, Kuthu Vilakku (lamps), fresh floral borders, and the artistic labor to assemble it all.
- Customization: If you want a specific theme, like a Krishna-centric setup or a heavily floral 'Golu' style, let me know before the event date so I can pull the right props from my inventory.
This setup works best in well-lit hall environments where the silver finish can catch the light, but I can also adapt these displays for home-based pujas and Seemantham events.
