Before we talk about belts, we talk about balance. My classes at Noida Stadium focus on stances like Zenkutsu Dachi because if you are not stable, you cannot be strong. You will learn to use your own body weight to stay grounded and effective in any self-defense situation, not just perform flashy moves.
In my sessions, we strip away the unnecessary noise. Shitoryu karate is deeply technical, but for self-defense, it must be practical. We spend significant time on stance training because your power generates from the ground up. Whether you are practicing Kokutsu Dachi to shift your weight quickly or learning the precise contact points of the hand, the goal is the same: to turn your body into a reliable tool for protection.
