Our soup is more than a dish, it's a legacy. People wait all year for this natural, slow-cooked Mughlai soup, a recipe passed down through generations.

As the saying goes, "Chote miyan toh chote miyan, Bade miya ka soup Subhan Allah." This soup has been an Iftar staple at Minara Masjid since 1946.

Straight from the hot tawa, our Mutton Gurda Fry is a must-try Ramzan delicacy, featured here as one of the best dishes on Mohammed Ali Road.

Our Yakhni soups are not mass-produced; they are a labor of love that starts at dawn. Each bowl of Zaban or chicken broth takes hours of slow simmering to achieve that clear, deep flavour our family has perfected since 1946. It is not just a soup, but the traditional, soul-warming start to Iftar that our regulars have relied on for generations.

More Than Just a Meal

Ramzan is our ibadat (prayer) and our biggest test of khatirdari (hospitality). While most places look for shortcuts, we stick to the 1946 rule: same family masalas, same cooking time, same result. Our Dastarkhwan is where the busy Mumbai streets slow down for a moment of tradition.

Where to Find Us

  • Minara Masjid Stall: This is our original home. It is raw, it is loud, and it is open until 4 AM. It is a cash-only setup exactly like the old days. If you want the full chaos and energy of a Mumbai Ramzan night, this is where you go.

  • Bandra Outlet: If you prefer a bit more comfort with your festive food, our Bandra spot brings the same menu to a sit-down setting. Perfect for families who want the taste without the standing room.

The Essentials

  • Mutton Haleem: This is our slow-cooked pride. Because we refuse to rush the cooking process, we only make this for pre-orders. You need to book your box 24 hours in advance so we can prepare it fresh with pure Desi Ghee and our secret spice blend.

  • Tawa Specials: Whether it is Gurda Fry or Bheja, we keep the tawa hot all night. These are heavy, spicy, and served with soft Rumali Rotis.
