About Milestone & Sitter Sessions
When you book a sitter or milestone session, my HSR Layout studio is already fully prepped. We provide the outfits, rompers, and themed props, so you do not need to bring anything except your baby. During the session, I have an assistant on hand to ensure safety while I focus on catching those quick-changing expressions as your baby figures out how to sit, crawl, or stand.
The sitter stage, typically between 5 and 11 months, is one of the most rewarding times to shoot. At this age, babies are interactive and expressive, and they have usually gained the head control needed for great portraits, but they are not yet running around, which makes for a much smoother experience.
My HSR Layout studio is stocked with over 100 themed setups. Whether you want a rustic wood-barrel look, a floral garden vibe, or a clean, classic portrait, we can set it up in minutes. Each session is designed to last 1.5 to 2 hours, giving us enough time to get the baby comfortable without rushing.
I include two distinct themes and two costume changes for every sitter session. You receive 12 high-resolution edited images, which include professional skin retouching and color correction. If you have a specific milestone in mind—like a half-birthday or a 9-month update—let me know, and we can plan the props accordingly.
