About Family & Sibling Moments
When scheduling family sessions, I always recommend aligning the time with your children's nap schedules to ensure everyone is comfortable. Whether we are in the studio or outdoors, the focus remains on capturing interactive moments rather than static poses. We keep the environment low-pressure, allowing space for breaks and genuine interaction between siblings and parents.
Family sessions require a different approach than solo baby photography. While individual shots are charming, the value of these images lies in the connection between family members. In my HSR Layout studio, we use classic backdrops and simple lighting that keep the focus entirely on your interactions. For those who prefer an organic feel, I also conduct outdoor sessions in Bangalore’s parks, where natural light and surroundings provide a softer atmosphere.
If you are bringing siblings, especially twins or active toddlers, do not worry about them staying still. My process relies on movement and play. We might ask dad to give a shoulder ride or have mom snuggle the little ones, creating frames that look natural.
