I turn your favorite meals, cafe haunts, and event vibes into watercolor and ink stories. Because some memories taste better when they are drawn.

Who says you have to drink beer to enjoy a brewery? At Ironhill in Bengaluru, I sketched their delicious food and drinks, turning the meal into a full color spread in my sketchbook.

An introvert with a sketchbook in a bustling brewery. It was loud and a bit overwhelming, but I found a quiet magic in capturing the chaos, watching people laugh and clink glasses while my pen danced on the page.

Go alone, do it alone, you'll be just fine. A solo date at the newly launched Third Wave Coffee outlet, where I sketched my meal. The ambiance, music, and coffee set the perfect vibe.

My sketch smelled like chamomile tea. Using just yellows and oranges, I captured a warm cup of tea at Third Wave Coffee. It’s funny how art can blend senses, memories, and even tastes.

When an artist finds his favorite meal in Goa. I was so happy to find this amazing prawns thali at a local Goan kitchen and, of course, I had to sketch it.

This ramen was a crime, but good thing my sketchbook can't taste. Even when a meal is disappointing, the process of illustrating it is always a win for me.

Quick sketching of Thai food and fruits. Thai food feels like a cousin of Indian food: bold, spicy, and comforting. This watercolor captures some of the local delicacies I tried.

My sketchbook page featuring a colorful illustration of tropical Thai fruits like rambutan, mango, and pineapple, with the real fruits in the background.

A close-up of my watercolor sketch of Thai fruits, showing the vibrant colors and details.

Another page from my sketchbook, this time featuring traditional Thai sweets wrapped in banana leaves. The real dishes and my watercolor palette are visible in the background.

About Food & Cafe Stories

When I sit with a sketchbook in a busy cafe, I am not just drawing a meal. I am capturing the clatter of cups, the specific light hitting the table, and the quiet comfort of being present. If you want to add a unique, creative touch to your venue or an intimate gathering, I can sketch your guests or the setting live, creating a memory that feels far more personal than a standard photograph.

My process is all about the quiet chaos of the moment. Whether I am at a bustling brewery in Kanakapura or a quiet corner in a coffee shop, I use high-quality 300 GSM paper to ensure the sketch lasts. I switch between waterproof pigment liners for structure and vibrant gouache or transparent watercolors to catch the mood.

I treat food illustration as a sensory experience. It is not just about the plate; it is about the smell of the chamomile tea, the condensation on a glass, or the colors of a local thali. For events, I set up a small station and work live, completing about 8 to 10 sketches per hour. It becomes a conversation starter, allowing guests to watch the art evolve from a blank page to a finished piece.

If you are a cafe owner looking for an artist to capture your space's soul, or an individual wanting a hand-drawn memento of a special meal, I am ready. I am based in Bengaluru but happy to travel. Let us move past filters and pixels and put the actual experience onto paper.
