About this collection
Props are the secret to leveling up your technique. While a flowing veil helps you smooth out your arm movements and posture, using finger cymbals, or zills, locks in your musicality. In our classes, we do not just wave fabric around. We use props to condition your shoulders and core while having a total blast.
Whether you are looking to master the flow of a silk veil or find your balance with a sword, our prop workshops are designed to add a new dimension to your movement. Props force you to focus on your lines and posture, which naturally makes your dance cleaner and more intentional.
We love experimenting. You might even catch us trying out the 'Giraffe Glide' with our veils, which is just one of the fun, quirky ways we keep things fresh in the studio. It is all about not taking ourselves too seriously while getting a real workout.
What you will learn:
- Veil Work: We focus on shoulder endurance and creating those mesmerizing, flowing lines.
- Zills (Finger Cymbals): This is how you really connect with the music. It builds incredible rhythm and coordination.
- Sword Balancing: This is the ultimate test of posture and core control. You will feel strong and graceful once you nail that balance.
We run these as specialized intensive workshops or include them in our regular weekend courses at Jayanagar and Malleswaram. You do not need to be a pro to start. We provide the props for in-class practice, so just bring your energy and get ready to shimmy! ✨
