About this collection
We don't believe in 'intern work'—no coffee runs or mindless photocopying here. From day one, you are diving into actual case files, conducting real research, and sitting in on client consultations because we want you to see exactly how intellectual property law works in the real world.
When we started A&Y Partners in 2014, we didn't have a playbook or a legal legacy to lean on. We learned everything through trial and error, late nights, and the kindness of mentors who showed us the way. That is exactly why we built our internship program the way it is today. We remember how daunting the legal field felt as students, and we want to remove that barrier.
Our office in Victoria Layout is more than a workplace; it is a learning hub. Whether you are from Christ University, OP Jindal, or joining us from abroad, you are treated as part of the team. Our 'office babies'—as we affectionately call our interns—get hands-on exposure to trademark filings, copyright licensing, and IP strategy sessions.
We don't just teach the law; we show you the business of law. You will see how we handle commercial litigation, manage client relationships, and navigate the tricky parts of intellectual property. We are here to answer questions, explain our decision-making, and help you find your footing in the profession. For us, mentorship is about building a community of confident, skilled lawyers who are ready to make their own mark. If you are curious about what happens behind the scenes of an IP firm, we would love to have you.
A&Y Partners
We are Ajay and Yogmaya, and mentorship is the heartbeat of our firm. We treat our interns like family, passing on the hands-on lessons we had to learn the hard way as first-generation lawyers.
