Garden Transformations and Backyard Makeovers
Before you invest in a new garden, look at how we turn neglected, messy outdoor spaces into functional green areas. Every project begins with a complete ground-up renovation.
A dramatic before and after of a backyard makeover. I cleared the uneven, muddy patch and installed a healthy new lawn with a neat stone pathway, instantly upgrading the home's outdoor appeal.
This before and after showcases a balcony transformation focused on maximizing planting space. I replaced a simple shelf with a full vertical garden wall, turning a plain wall into a living feature bursting with greenery.
Even a narrow entrance corridor can become a welcoming green space. Here, I replaced dated tile with bright artificial turf and added artificial vines to the railing, creating an inviting and maintenance-free entryway.
This shows the exterior transformation of a property's boundary wall. I replaced a temporary setup with a finished wall featuring integrated stone cladding panels and low-maintenance garden beds for a polished look.
Before the makeover: an overgrown and uneven backyard path. This is the starting point for many of my transformation projects.
My team at work, preparing the ground by clearing weeds and leveling the soil. This foundational step is crucial for a healthy and long-lasting garden installation.
The process continues with laying down stone pavers for a new walkway and preparing to install rolls of fresh turf. You can see the new garden layout taking shape.
Here, my team is carefully laying down sections of natural grass sod next to the newly installed stepping stone path.
The finished backyard garden, featuring a vibrant new lawn, a clean stone pathway, and colorful planting beds along the border.
Before the work began: a narrow, cluttered side yard with debris and uneven ground. This space had a lot of untapped potential.
About Garden Transformations: Before & After
The transformation you see in these photos starts long before any grass is laid. We prioritize site clearing, weed removal, and manual grading to ensure proper drainage and a flat surface. By enriching the soil with red earth and organic manure before installation, we ensure that your new lawn or path isn't just a temporary fix, but a foundation that actually lasts.
The Science Behind the Green
A beautiful garden is 20 percent plants and 80 percent preparation. When we take on a backyard makeover, we don't just cover the ground; we fix the infrastructure. If your space has drainage issues, clumpy soil, or debris, those problems won't go away just by adding grass. We strip the site back to basics, level the ground to prevent waterlogging, and build up the soil quality with Red Soil (Chemman) and organic manure.
Creating Your Custom Space
- Natural Lawns: We primarily use Mexican Carpet Grass or Bermuda Grass. These rolls are installed gap-free to create a dense, uniform look that fills in quickly.
- Pathways & Texture: We use rough-finish grey granite slabs for walkways. These provide a natural, non-slip surface that we set on a mortar or sand bed so they don't wobble when you walk on them.
- Vertical & Edge Features: For smaller spaces like balconies or narrow side yards, we utilize vertical garden setups and strategic pebble borders to hide raw edges and create clean lines.
Why Professional Installation Matters
Most DIY gardens fail within a few months because of poor base preparation or incorrect plant selection for the light levels. Our approach focuses on sustainability—we choose plants and materials that fit the specific sun-shade profile of your property in Bengaluru. Whether you are dealing with a cramped urban balcony or a muddy plot in the suburbs, we build with the expectation that the space should remain vibrant throughout the year with minimal upkeep.
