About Behind the Design
Every design here starts with a floral trial. Before the guest list is finalized or the venue is booked, we are in the workshop testing color pairings and texture combinations to ensure the palette feels authentic to your story rather than just a trend.
Design is a messy, beautiful process. It is not just about putting flowers in a vase; it is about understanding the volume of a room, the way light hits a surface at 7 PM, and how guests will naturally move through the space.
When we talk about the design phase for our Mumbai-based events, we are really talking about experimentation. We spend weeks in the workshop—the floral trials you see here—playing with snapdragons, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus until the scent and the visual weight match the mood we are after.
For architectural challenges, like transforming a standard staircase into a balcony for a Sufi night, we do not just decorate; we engineer. We use raw materials and clever fabrication to change the venue entirely.
