Professional Leather Goods and Accessory Photography
We don't just shoot accessories; we bring out the character in every stitch, fold, and grain. From rugged suede boots to sleek designer backpacks, we create the perfect environment to make your products stand out.
I love the woody, warm tones in this shot for Hanker Boots. We created a rustic, masculine setting with a tree stump and wooden planks to complement the brown suede boots. The lighting is soft and directional, highlighting the texture of the suede.
A classic still life for Hanker Boots. The black leather chukka boots are paired with a vintage-style briefcase, telling a story of travel, business, and timeless style.
The best kicks are made of leather. This shot for Hanker Boots shows off the rich color and shine of the leather, as well as the sturdy sole. The warm, textured background adds to the heritage feel.
A top-down view of the Hanker Boots collection. This kind of flat lay is great for showing the variety of styles and colors available, all arranged on a warm wooden background that unifies the collection.
A clean, graphic composition for Hanker Boots. Placing the brown and black boots against a simple, gradient background isolates them and allows the viewer to focus purely on their classic shape and form.
Kicking away the work blues. This was a fun, creative shot for Pepitoes Footwear. Using a model's leg to create this balanced composition adds a playful and dynamic element to a standard product shot.
A simple, elegant, and effective concept. This shot for Pepitoes Footwear uses a hand to present the sandal as if it were a precious object, drawing all attention to its design and vibrant pink color.
Clean product work for Pepitoes Footwear. This floating composition of three platform slippers gives them a sense of lightness and fun. The neutral background ensures the different colors and textures stand out.
A top-down flat lay for Pepitoes, showcasing their snakeskin-textured loafers. The composition with the box and ribbon gives it a "new shoes" feel, and the soft lighting is perfect for showing off the pastel colors.
A group shot of ankle boots from Pepitoes. By stacking the boxes in the background and arranging the boots in a dynamic way, we created a shot that feels more like a scene from a stylish stockroom than a simple product lineup.
About Crafted & Styled: Leather Goods & Accessories
You might see a leather bag on our page and think it’s just the product, but it is often a meticulously stuffed piece of gear. We use high-density foam inserts to give bags that crisp, premium structure you see in the final shot. It is a tedious, hands-on process, but without that internal support, the leather just sags, and the visual impact disappears.
Shooting leather and accessories is a game of patience and texture management. Leather has a unique ability to catch light, and if your lighting is off, you lose the depth that makes the material look rich and expensive. In our Pune studio, we focus on what we call 'material honesty.' We want the viewer to feel the grain of the hide or the texture of the canvas through the screen.
Our Approach to Accessories
Whether it is a pair of boots or a laptop sleeve, our goal is to build a world around the object. This often involves creating a lifestyle context—like a coffee shop setting for a wallet or a rustic wood backdrop for footwear—to help the customer visualize the product in their own life.
The Technical Side
We shoot exclusively with high-resolution systems like the Hasselblad X2D. When you are photographing products with fine stitching or intricate buckles, you need that 100-megapixel detail. We also use tethered shooting, which means you see the high-resolution files on a monitor in real time. This allows us to adjust the styling, fix a stray thread, or tweak the lighting on the fly.
Why Styling Matters
We do not believe in 'fix it in post.' We believe in getting it right on set. From the way we polish the buckles to the precise angle of a zipper, we spend the time to ensure the image is clean and impactful before we ever touch the retouching software. This reduces the need for heavy digital manipulation and keeps the product looking authentic to the consumer.
Ashish Gurbani
I’m Ashish, and for me, the camera is just the final step. We obsess over the texture of your leather and the way light hits a stitch, often spending hours perfecting the setup before we ever click the shutter. If you have a vision for your brand, we are the ones to help you build it.
