Family Art Workshops and Creative Sessions
Come create memories where the only rule is to have fun. Whether you’re a toddler or a grown-up, these Colour Dates are all about bonding through art.
There is nothing more special than seeing a parent and child creating art side by side. This video from one of my family workshops shows the fun and focus as everyone gets hands-on with fluid art.
This fluid art piece, with its warm colours and flowing lines, was inspired by the joy of motherhood. It represents the beautiful, sometimes chaotic, journey of being a mother and an artist.
Holding the finished piece that was inspired by my little one. I often host workshops for mothers and kids to share this experience of creating art together and making something memorable.
A happy moment before a Mother's Day workshop begins. I believe creating art together is a powerful way for families to connect and spend quality time in a fun, new way.
About Colour Dates: Art for Families & Kids
You don't need a steady hand or any art background to join us. I bring all the materials, including kid-friendly paints and aprons, so you just show up ready to get a little messy and enjoy the process together.
Think of a Colour Date as a creative timeout for your family. Often, we get so caught up in the routine that we forget to just sit and make something without a goal in mind. That’s why I host these sessions in relaxed, open spaces around Jaipur, like cozy cafés or gardens, where the atmosphere feels more like a hangout than a classroom.
We focus on simple, intuitive techniques. Fluid art, for instance, is a favourite because it’s unpredictable. You pour, you watch the colours swirl, and you don’t have to worry about 'messing up' because the outcome is always unique. It’s lovely to see kids and parents sitting side by side, both navigating the same colourful chaos.
We keep the group sizes manageable, usually around 10 to 15 people, to make sure everyone gets a bit of guidance without feeling the pressure of a formal workshop. I provide everything you need—canvas, pre-mixed paints, and protective gear. You only need to bring an open mind and a willingness to get a little paint on your hands.
Whether it’s for a birthday, a weekend catch-up, or just a day when you need to switch off, these sessions are about creating that shared memory. पता है? (You know?), the art is just the excuse. The real magic is in the laughter and the quiet moments you share while your canvas dries. If you have specific timing or a large group in mind, just reach out and we can find a spot that works.
