I absolutely love sharing my passion with fellow creators. Here I am, guiding a resin art workshop for architects and designers at the Design India Expo. It's amazing to see professionals explore new materials and find fresh inspiration.

This little fish artwork is very close to my heart. I created it while thinking about my journey into motherhood, and it holds so much love. It’s a reminder that art can capture our deepest feelings and stories.

I believe art is a wonderful way for families to connect. This is an invitation for a special Mother's Day fluid art workshop I hosted, a 'Colour Date with Kids', designed for moms and their little ones to create and bond together.

This is the "Land of Rising Sun" piece, finding its permanent home at Arunachal Bhavan in Delhi. Seeing my textured, hand-painted art installed in a beautifully designed space, under the perfect lighting, is a feeling I can't quite describe. It’s moments like these that make the entire journey worthwhile.

Here is the complete view of a mandala mural I created, combining a textured white base with intricate black doodle work. This piece was designed to transform a simple wall into a focal point of calm and detailed beauty, with every line and pattern painted by hand.

This doodle wall at Café Quaint tells the story of its journey, from its beginnings to becoming a beloved community spot. We mapped out key moments in the café's history, and I brought them to life with flowing lines and illustrations, creating a unique piece of storytelling wall art.

My Story

I’m Kāruja. Architect, artist, maa (mother) – all rolled into one, no neat lines here. Doodling’s been my jam since school days, patterns flow from my pen when life gets loud. Took a pause, came back stronger. My studio is my little bubble, where I find some shanti (peace) between the mess. Teaching at the architecture school, showing kids new art tricks – that’s my happy place. Motherhood? Changes everything, even how I see my own art.

Large Wall Murals & Mandalas - Big doodle murals, mandala patterns – I love mixing structure with flow. Sometimes I’m on the floor, hunched and messy.
