About Sibling Moments
I do not believe in forcing smiles or making siblings sit still for hours. During our session, I keep things moving with games and interaction, whether that involves racing in the park or sharing a quiet moment together. By letting them just be themselves, I capture the genuine dynamic—the protective older sibling, the curious younger one, and the unfiltered laughter that happens when they are having actual fun.
My Approach to Sibling Portraits
Photography is often stressful for children, which is why I keep my sessions fluid and relaxed. Whether we are in an open park in Delhi or a home setup in Jaipur, the goal is to create an environment where kids forget there is a camera pointed at them. When children are comfortable, their true personalities come out.
Why Natural Light Matters
I prefer shooting outdoors or near large windows for a reason. Natural light creates a soft, warm glow that makes skin tones look real and adds a gentle touch to the images. We usually plan outdoor sessions during the golden hour to get that flattering light, which helps in making the photos feel airy and joyful.
Making it Fun
I use props like vintage toys or simple items that keep children engaged. If your kids have a favourite activity or a specific game they love to play together, tell me before the shoot. Incorporating these elements allows me to photograph them doing what they naturally do best, rather than asking them to strike a stiff pose.
Planning Your Session
- Locations: I shoot across Delhi NCR, Jaipur, and Dehradun. If you have a specific park or a home space in mind, let me know.
- Clothing: Keep it simple. Avoid matching outfits if they feel uncomfortable. Smart casuals that let them run around freely are usually the best choice.
- Outcome: You get high-resolution, edited images that you can turn into wall art. My edit focuses on maintaining the realistic colours and textures of the moment, not heavy retouching.
