About The Rich Henna Stain
To get that deep maroon stain you see in my work, keeping the henna on for at least 4 to 6 hours is essential. After I apply the design, I use a lemon and sugar sealant to lock in the moisture, which helps the color develop to its full richness. Please avoid washing the paste off with water, as that can stop the natural oxidation process.
Why Natural Henna Matters
Most store-bought cones use chemical dyes to provide an instant dark color, but those can cause skin reactions and fade unevenly. I mix my own paste using pure, triple-sifted henna powder and essential oils like eucalyptus or clove. This blend is not only safe for your skin but also produces a richer, more authentic reddish-brown stain that continues to darken over 48 hours.
Maintaining Your Stain
Once the dried henna falls off, try to protect your hands from direct water contact for the first 12 hours. The natural reaction needs time to fully set. Keeping your hands warm and applying a little coconut or mustard oil also helps the color bloom beautifully. Whether it is a bridal session or a guest party, I provide simple instructions so you can get the best possible result for your event.
