I will walk you through the process, from selecting the right reference photo to finalising the details, ensuring the final piece feels just like home.
Bringing your pet's personality to life
Digital pet art has a way of warming up a space, especially when it captures those little habits that only you notice. I work primarily on my iPad using Procreate, which allows me to blend colours and strokes until the piece feels right.
Choosing the right style
I offer a few different approaches based on what you are looking for:
- Minimalist Spot Illustration: Perfect if you want something simple and clean, like a flat-style sketch of your pet with a solid background. This is a great choice for quick gifts.
- Urban Sketch Style: This uses ink lines with a watercolour wash. It feels very artistic and works beautifully if you want to include a bit of your pet's favourite environment, like a park or a specific room in your home.
- Premium Digital Oil Painting: If you want something with deeper texture and detail, this style focuses on the fur, the eyes, and the unique light in the scene. It is my most detailed option and often includes a time-lapse video of the process.
The practical details
I work on a digital-first basis. Once the illustration is complete, I send you a high-resolution file. This gives you the freedom to print it on a canvas, use it as a screensaver, or even create custom merchandise.
My turnaround time is typically 2-4 days, though I can occasionally accommodate tighter deadlines if you have an urgent gift in mind.
