Why I Paint Miniatures

Tiny canvases speak to me. I pour my heart into each piece, trying to capture those small, fleeting moments that make life, well, life. Sometimes it's a memory from a solo trip, sometimes just a feeling that sticks around. My art isn’t about chasing perfection - it’s about the story and the mood.

What I Love to Paint

• Travel scenes with a twist: Think pahad (mountains), lakes, sunsets, or maybe that cute homestay where you drank chai (tea) by the window. If you’ve got a travel memory, I’d love to turn it into a hand-painted travel memory keepsake.
• Furry buddies: I’m a sucker for animal portrait miniature painting. I once painted a Red Panda from Darjeeling and honestly, it made my week.
• Festive feels: Whether it’s a snowy winter night or a field of spring flowers, I can paint the vibe you want to hold onto.

How I Work

I use oil paints on mini canvases - usually around 3x3 or 3x4 inches. I play around with brushes and palette knives to add texture. Honestly, I just go with the flow. Sometimes, the “mistakes” end up being my favourite part. Bob Ross was right about those happy little accidents.
