Spiritual and Thematic Art Commissions
Art is my devotion, my shradha. When you want a painting that captures faith or ancient wisdom, I pour my heart into every stroke. From large-scale canvas work to detailed spiritual portraits, let's bring your vision to life.
Starting a new, large-scale commission is always an exciting challenge. This 6x7 ft canvas is for a thematic piece about ancient Indian medicine, a project I am pouring my heart into.
This video shows the process of painting a figure for my "Ancient Indian Medicine" commission. The use of bold oranges and blues in this acrylic painting gives it a unique, powerful energy.
Painting the face of an Acharya for my Ayurveda-themed commission. The goal is to capture a look of deep knowledge and serenity using acrylics.
A close-up of my work on the portrait of Maharshi Ved Vyash, the father of Ayurveda. This acrylic painting requires immense focus to capture the essence of his wisdom.
This video shows more progress on the large Ayurveda-themed canvas. Here, I am painting the figures of the students, showing a scene of knowledge being passed down.
A reveal of my completed pencil sketch of Ram Lalla. Creating spiritual art is a form of devotion for me, and I am humbled to share this piece.

About this collection
When I work on a large-scale thematic commission, like the 6x7 ft Ayurveda piece I am currently painting, it is never just about filling a canvas. It is a slow, steady process of capturing essence and serenity. I believe art should feel like a prayer. This is why I focus on the intricate details, such as the texture of a robe, the look of knowledge in an eye, or the specific glow of a deity. Whether it is a tribute to Maharshi Ved Vyash or a sketch of Ram Lalla, my goal is to create something that brings the energy of the subject into your space.
For me, painting is a journey of faith. My process for large-scale commissions starts with understanding the 'sapna' (dream) behind the art. If you are looking for custom religious or thematic artwork, I prefer to work closely with your vision, whether it involves specific mythological scenes or heritage themes.
For my large canvases, I use heavy-body acrylics on primed cotton canvas. I focus on durability and finish. I use non-yellowing varnish to ensure the painting stays vibrant for years. When I paint figures, I layer the paint to achieve a hyper-realistic look, spending significant time on the fabric and jewelry details.
You can commission me for specific temple carvings, portraits of deities, or scenes from Indian tradition. For smaller spiritual sketches, I often use a mix of charcoal and graphite on acid-free paper. Sometimes I add a touch of color, like a vibrant red tilak, to give it that distinct, powerful energy. Every commission includes a certificate of authenticity. If you have an idea in mind, send me a reference or a theme, and we can discuss the canvas size and composition that suits your home.
