About The Making Of: From Farm to Skin
Making soap the right way takes time. We use the traditional cold-process method, which means every batch sits curing for four full weeks. This patience ensures the natural glycerin stays inside the soap, giving you a bar that cleanses without ever leaving your skin feeling dry or tight.
The Arthlings Philosophy
I believe nature achieves balance through centuries of evolution, and our skin deserves that pure, natural care. After 14 years in IT, I stepped away to build Arthlings because I wanted products that were truly safe for my family. We do not use parabens, sulfates, or artificial fragrances. Instead, we use pure essential oils.
From Our Farm to Your Skin
Everything begins at our organic farm in Baijnathpur Village.
- The Ingredients: We grow what we use. Whether it is the turmeric for our glow bars or the fresh botanicals for our soaps, I know exactly what goes into our products because I watch them grow.
- Small Batches: Hum log (we people) make everything by hand. This allows us to maintain strict quality control and ensure that every product you receive is fresh, not something that has been sitting in a warehouse for months.
- Traditional Methods: We rely on old-school techniques. From extracting raw honey from the comb to de-seeding loofahs by hand, we strip away the machinery to keep the natural integrity of the ingredients intact.
Why Cold-Process Matters
Many commercial soaps are made using heat-intensive processes that strip away the natural benefits of the oils. By using the cold-process method, we preserve the moisture-retaining properties of the vegetable oils, coconut oil, and goat milk we use. The four-week curing time is not just a suggestion, it is a necessity to ensure the soap is hard, long-lasting, and gentle enough for sensitive skin.
