The Art of Handmade Skincare
Forget mass-produced factory lines. Step inside my workshop where skincare is whipped, poured, and crafted in small batches just for you.
From pouring vibrant lip tints to whipping creamy body butters and molding artisanal soaps, I pour my heart into every product to serve you the very best in handmade skincare.
This is where the magic happens. Watch as I blend natural ingredients to create the rich textures you love, from creamy butters to smooth scrubs, all made with love and pure goodness.
I believe in using the mildest, most effective natural ingredients. Here's a look at how I create my Lumiere Skin Brightening Gel Creme, blending traditional elements like Manjistha and Turmeric.
What do my magical organic concoctions look like before they become your favorite products? This beaker holds the pure, natural ingredients that go into my handmade creations.
Preparing an order is a joy. This video shows the unmolding of some of my most popular handmade soaps, including Oudh and Lavender, Rose Goat Milk, Honey Lemon, and Fruit Punch.
Fun and functional. Watch me pour my all-new puzzle-themed soaps, a playful and organic way to make bath time enjoyable for everyone, especially kids.
About this collection
Every product you see here starts in a small beaker, not a massive factory vat. Whether I am swirling goat milk soaps or mixing active-rich serums, I keep my batches intentionally small to ensure that botanical extracts and modern actives like Niacinamide remain potent. This isn't just about making skincare; it is about ensuring that what you apply to your face is fresh, balanced to a healthy pH, and crafted with specific skin goals in mind.
From Kitchen Hacks to Modern Science
I grew up with the wisdom of 'Mummy ke nuske'—the traditional ubtans and herbal treatments passed down through generations. But I know that skin needs more than just tradition. In my workshop, I marry those ancient Indian herbs with proven modern ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, and Alpha Arbutin.
Why I Keep It Small
When you buy mass-produced skincare, you have no idea how long it sat on a shelf. My process is the opposite. Because I handcraft everything in small batches, I can control the texture, the scent, and the efficacy of every single item. When I pour a batch of my Blueberry Pound Cake body butter or mix a fresh clay cleanser, I do it to order or in limited runs. This ensures you get a product that is not just effective, but also free from the preservatives and fillers needed for a three-year shelf life.
My Crafting Process
- Cleansers: I formulate these with pH-balanced bases (5.5 to 6) to ensure your skin barrier stays intact while the kaolin or French green clay detoxifies your pores.
- Serums: These are water-based gels designed for rapid absorption. I use a pipette to measure precise concentrations, ensuring you get the right dose of actives without the sticky residue.
- Soaps: These are cold-processed or melt-and-pour varieties where I hand-swirl natural clays and essential oils. No two bars are exactly the same.
If you are tired of the 'one size fits all' approach to beauty, my kitchen is open. I am happy to guide you on which botanical blend will actually work for your skin type, whether you are dealing with pigmentation, dullness, or just need a simple hydration boost.
Peachy Dusk
I am the face (and hands) behind Peachy Dusk. I believe skincare shouldn't be a mystery, so I document my entire process—from stirring bubbling pots to pouring fresh serums—to show you exactly what goes into your jar. If you are looking for a routine that treats your skin with honesty and care, you are in the right place.
