Artistic Experiments and Sculptural Inspirations
A look into my studio, where I explore new textures, mix different media, and find inspiration for the pieces I create for your home.
Here I am, sitting with one of my favorite textured art series. This piece features a rich, earthy palette and a landscape-like feel, created on paper.
Holding another piece from my textured series. This one incorporates corrugated lines and a more muted color palette, exploring different types of rustic textures.
With a vibrant green and yellow piece from the same series. I love how the bright colors interact with the deep, abstract textures in this one.
Admiring a piece with a beautiful, flowing texture that resembles a topographical map or a flowing river of sand. The earthy tones are very calming.
A candid shot of me looking over a finished textured artwork. I love taking a moment to appreciate the details and the story each piece tells once it's complete.
This framed four-panel piece was one of my first textured artworks. It uses draped fabric in bright yellow against a dark brown background, showing my early explorations into 3D art.
A sneak peek from my phone gallery. Here I am holding up the embroidery pattern for a new mixed-media piece, showing how I sometimes blend different crafts together.
A happy moment at a gallery, standing with a fellow artist in front of a wall of beautiful abstract art. The art community is a wonderful source of inspiration and support.
About Additional Works & Inspirations
You’ll see that my process changes with every piece, from working with clay to blending embroidery with paint. This collection captures those experiments and the journey I take to ensure that when you commission a custom piece, it doesn't just fill a wall, but tells a story through the specific textures and mediums I’ve developed over years of practice.
Art is rarely a straight line. In this space, I share the messy, exciting, and rewarding parts of my practice that don't always end up in the finished, framed gallery pieces. You will find examples of my mixed media work, my early experiments with corrugated lines, and the quiet moments where I figure out how to make a piece of clay look like flowing water or weathered stone.
I believe that a home needs art that feels personal, which is why I often share these 'in-progress' shots. Whether it is a charcoal portrait, a textured canvas using modeling paste, or an abstract piece meant for a specific room, I want you to see the care that goes into every layer. My work often draws from the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, finding beauty in imperfection and the passage of time.
When we work together, this is the foundation I bring to your project. We don't just pick a size and color. We discuss the vibe, we create samples to test how light hits the texture, and we experiment until the piece feels right for your space. If you are looking for art that has weight, soul, and a physical presence, I would love to hear what you have in mind.
