How I Build Texture

I don't just use paint. For these pieces, I work with heavy-body modeling paste, canvas, and rigid MDF boards to create a 3D relief. By layering these materials, I can sculpt shapes directly onto the base, giving the art a tactile quality that you don't get with standard flat paintings.

Instead of one giant canvas, I paint and texture individual panels—like the black abstract series or the wooden carvings I've done for homes in Jaipur. • Installation: For heavy textured pieces, I pre-install D-rings or French Cleat systems, so you don't need to worry about the hardware.
• Durability: Every piece gets a protective coat to handle dust and light, which is especially important for textured surfaces where dust likes to settle.
• Custom Shapes: I can work on irregular shapes, like arches or puzzle-cut boards, if you want something that breaks away from the standard rectangular frame.
