Multi-Panel & Modular Wall Art Installations
Why limit yourself to one canvas? I design multi-panel art and modular installations that turn blank walls into cohesive, dynamic focal points for your space.
Assembling a large, multi-panel modular artwork for a client in Hyderabad. Each piece is custom-cut from MDF board and designed to fit together seamlessly.
The modular pieces can be painted in different colors to create various patterns. Here, I'm testing a combination of beige and dark green.
Another colorway for the modular art, this time with a rich terracotta. This allows for a high degree of customization to match any interior.
The separate components of the modular artwork laid out. This shows the complexity of the design and how the individual parts form a whole.
The process of creating these seamless artworks takes a lot of time and precision, but the final result is a truly unique and architectural piece of wall art.

Another version of the modular artwork installed in the same Hyderabad residence, this time with a warm yellow-ochre color.

A beautiful abstract landscape painting installed in a Mumbai entryway. While a single canvas, it shows how I can create art to fit specific dimensions, like this 3ft x 4ft piece.

About Multi-Panel & Modular Art
When I work on modular pieces, the real challenge isn't just the painting—it's ensuring the edges align perfectly, whether it's a diptych or a five-piece set. I custom-cut MDF boards to your specific wall dimensions, so the final installation flows seamlessly across your space rather than looking like separate, mismatched canvases.
Why Go Modular?
A single canvas is classic, but a modular installation changes the geometry of a room. Whether you have a challenging staircase, a massive entryway, or just a wall that needs more than a standard rectangular piece, modular art offers a dynamic solution.
My Process
My modular sets—like the installations I created for clients in Hyderabad—start with planning the flow. I don't just paint on pre-cut canvases; I custom-cut MDF boards to create organic shapes that fit together.
- Planning: We start with your wall dimensions. I create a digital mockup so you can see how the shapes interact with your furniture and lighting.
- Fabrication: The boards are cut to size. I apply texture using heavy-body acrylic paste, creating a 3D relief that plays with shadows throughout the day.
- Finishing: Each piece is varnished to protect the texture. For large-scale installations, I include pre-installed French cleats or heavy-duty D-rings so the pieces sit flush against your wall.
A Note on Installation
Because these are sculptural and often irregular in shape, shipping requires custom wooden crating. Unlike standard canvas, these pieces are rigid. When you receive them, they’ll be ready to hang, but it’s always a good idea to have a local handyman help with the layout—or just follow the guide I include with every shipment.
