About Living & Dining Rooms
Most people struggle with how to connect the living room to the dining area without making the space feel cramped. I use smart furniture placement and visual transitions to make these zones flow together, ensuring the TV unit remains the focal point while the dining area stays distinct and accessible.
When I design these spaces, my priority is the balance between daily comfort and visual impact. In an open-plan layout, the living room and dining area need to feel like one continuous space without losing their individual purpose.
My Approach to Design
I often use vertical wood slats or marble-clad panels to define the TV unit as a statement piece. This adds texture and depth that flat paint or standard finishes simply cannot match. For the ceiling, I avoid heavy, outdated designs. Instead, I plan geometric false ceilings with integrated cove lighting. This keeps the room feeling bright and airy while providing soft, ambient light for the evenings.
The Technical Side
Design isn't just about how it looks; it’s about how it works. When I plan your layout, I map out every electrical point—where the TV console sits, where the switchboards go, and even the power points for kitchen appliances that might share the same space. I include these in the technical blueprints so your carpenter and electrician know exactly what to do from day one.
What You Get
Whether you need a traditional pooja corner integrated into a modern hall or a sleek modular crockery unit to bridge the kitchen and dining space, I handle the design and the execution supervision. You will see 3D renders before we move to the site, so there are no surprises about materials or lighting effects. I focus on clean lines and natural light to ensure your living and dining areas feel spacious and truly reflective of your story.
