Behind the Scenes: Our Design and Build Process
We believe the real magic is in the messy work. See how we source hardware, test custom mechanisms, and solve layout problems on-site before your project even begins.
I love visiting expos like Index Plus to discover the latest trends and innovations in interior design. This reel shows some of my favorite finds, including voice-activated space-saving furniture and remote-controlled drying racks.
We recently installed this hydraulic bed lift that operates with a remote control. While it can be slower and more expensive than manual lifts, it's an excellent accessibility feature for senior citizens or anyone with back issues.
Here’s a look at how we build our low-maintenance under-bed drawers. By using heavy-duty castor wheels on a wooden track, the drawers can be fully removed, making it simple to clean the floor underneath.
This video shows the on-site progress of a custom sliding wardrobe. The drop-down ceiling was designed to hide uneven beams and also provides hidden overhead storage, which is accessible via smartly concealed shutters.
About Behind the Scenes
We do not just show you the finished photo. When we install a remote-controlled hydraulic bed, it is because we know how heavy mattresses can get. This is not just a gadget. It is a specific solution for accessibility, helping seniors or anyone with back pain manage heavy storage with a single click. We test these mechanisms on-site to ensure they are safe and durable, so you do not have to worry about the tech failing after a few months.
From Expo Finds to Your Home
I regularly visit design expos like Index Plus to hunt for hardware that actually solves Mumbai's space issues. Whether it is voice-activated furniture or remote-controlled drying racks, I want to see how these things perform before they get anywhere near your home. If I am recommending a hydraulic lift, it is because I have personally checked the weight calibration and safety stops.
Why We Obsess Over Hardware
It is easy to hide bad work behind a nice laminate finish, but we focus on what happens inside the cabinets.
- Drawers: We prefer using heavy-duty castor wheels on wooden tracks instead of standard channels for under-bed storage. This makes the drawers fully detachable, so cleaning underneath is not a headache.
- Beams and Ceilings: If your room has uneven slabs or beams, we do not try to paint over them. We use drop-down ceilings to hide those structural quirks and turn that wasted void into overhead storage with concealed shutters.
- Maintenance: Every hinge, piston, and runner we pick is chosen for its longevity. We share these details because we want you to understand exactly what you are paying for—and why some options, like remote-controlled beds, might cost more or operate differently than standard versions.
Our job is to make sure your home does not just look good today, but remains functional and easy to maintain for years to come.
