About this collection

The finish on these blouses is all about structural integrity. Whether it is a heavy zardosi velvet piece or a lighter raw silk blouse, we use triple-layer lining and high-grade canvas fusing to ensure the embroidery sits flat and the garment holds its shape throughout long wedding ceremonies. If you are picking a heavy design, we recommend checking the weight to ensure you remain comfortable while looking your best.

Our Approach to Bridal Blouses

At our studio in Bommanahalli, we treat every blouse as a piece of art. The designs in this collection reflect the range of our work, from subtle elegance to full-scale bridal opulence. We focus on two primary aspects: the technical build and the artistic embellishment.

Technical Expertise

  • Base Fabric: We work primarily with premium raw silks, brocades, and micro velvets. These fabrics hold heavy embroidery better and provide a superior fall.
  • Construction: Every blouse is double-lined. For heavy designs, we incorporate triple-layer lining—cotton, canvas, and soft satin—to ensure the stone work does not irritate the skin.
  • Fit: We use molded cups tailored to your size and princess-cut construction for a flattering silhouette. Our finishing includes rust-free metal hooks and high-strength braided dori for support.

Embroidery & Design Techniques

  • Temple Jewellery Motifs: These are a signature of our studio. We replicate the look of Vanki and Addigai jewellery using hand-set Kemp stones, Kundan, and Zircon on raw silk bases.
  • Antique Zardosi: For brides wanting a classic, regal aesthetic, we use antique gold zardosi threads combined with French knots. This is particularly striking on our deep-toned velvet collection.
  • Custom Details: We pay attention to the back and sleeves. From intricate cutouts and sheer panels to statement latkans and peacock-shaped tassels, every detail is considered to ensure your blouse looks perfect from every angle.
