About this collection
When you choose a design from this collection, expect more than just fabric and thread. Each piece is constructed with triple-layer lining—using cotton, canvas, and soft satin—specifically to support the weight of heavy stone and zardosi work. This isn't just about aesthetics; it's about structural integrity so the blouse sits perfectly on your shoulders throughout your wedding ceremonies.
Our Approach to Bridal Blouses
At APR Vastrakala, we believe a blouse should be as significant as the saree it accompanies. This collection showcases the diversity of our craft, from the intricate detail of our signature temple jewellery concept to the royal richness of velvet.
The Jewellery Concept
Our signature style replicates the grandeur of South Indian temple jewellery directly onto fabric. We use Kemp stones, Kundan, and Zircon, setting them into the embroidery to mimic the look of traditional Vanki or Addigai. This provides a cohesive, opulent look that removes the need for excessive accessorizing while ensuring you stand out.
Precision in Every Stitch
Beyond the visuals, we focus on the foundation. Whether it is raw silk, brocade, or velvet, we ensure the fabric can hold the weight of the embellishments. Our standard construction includes:
- Support: Triple-layer lining to ensure comfort despite heavy stone work.
- Tailoring: Princess cuts with molded cups tailored to your specific measurements for a perfect silhouette.
- Finishing: Rust-free metal hooks, fabric tassels, and concealed zippers for a seamless fit.
