- Structure: Establishing clear boundaries and leadership dynamics.
Logistics & Handover
- Accommodation: Secure individual kennel run in a well-ventilated, open-air working dog setup.
- Daily Care: Includes all feeding, hydration, and hygiene maintenance by kennel staff.
- Owner Transfer: Mandatory intensive handover session to teach you how to maintain the training results.
Aggression Rehab & Intensive Modification
Critical Intervention
- Target Cases: Designed for dogs with bite histories, severe reactivity, or extreme fear issues.
- Safety Protocols: Includes muzzle conditioning and bite inhibition training.
- Senior Handling: Direct handling by the head trainer due to risk levels, unlike standard obedience programs.
Rehabilitation Methodology
- Trigger Desensitization: Controlled exposure to specific triggers like other dogs or strangers using threshold management.
- Confidence Building: Utilization of agility obstacles and drive work to convert insecurity into confidence.
- State of Mind: Moving beyond commands to reshape the dog's emotional response to stress.
Reintegration Support
- Family Safety Plan: Detailed protocols for managing guests and multi-dog households post-return.
- Handler Coaching: Extensive coaching on reading body language and early warning signs to prevent regression.
Personal Protection & Guard Dog Training
Drive & Grip Development
- Prerequisite: Dog must pass a strict temperament evaluation for nerve stability.
- Grip Mechanics: Teaching full-mouth calm bites using pillows and sleeves, rather than fear-based nipping.
- Prey Drive: Using tugs and flirt poles to build the desire to chase and engage targets.
Control & Obedience
- The Out Command: Training an instant, non-negotiable release of the bite on a verbal cue.
- On/Off Switch: Conditioning the dog to switch instantly between family mode and protection mode.
- Scenario Training: Simulating real-world threats like carjackings or home invasions rather than just field sports.
Owner Handler Training
- Command Authority: Teaching the owner how to deploy and recall the dog under high stress.
- Liability Education: Training on the legal and safety responsibilities of handling a protection dog.
About Board and Train Programs
I don't believe in blaming the dog or the breed. What matters is how we guide them. If your dog stays with me for my Board and Train program, I treat them with the respect and structure they need to really change - not just learn new tricks.
What Happens Here
- Your dog lives at my Bangalore facility, not just for a few hours but for an immersive dog training experience.
- I work with all kinds of dogs, from those needing basic manners to behavioral rehabilitation for aggressive dogs.
- Structure comes first. Clear rules, boundaries, and leadership are always the starting point.
- I don't break dogs - I build them up, working on partnership and trust rather than dominance.
How I Train
- Training doesn't happen in a bubble. Your dog gets real-world dog socialization in different environments, not just a sterile room.
- Games and exercises ramp up focus and drive, especially important for working breeds.
- Every dog is different. I’ve helped blind and deaf dogs, shelter rescues, and so-called "dangerous" breeds find balance.
What You Need To Know
- This isn’t a quick fix. When your dog comes home, your commitment to structure and rules counts just as much as mine.
- I’ll show you how to keep the progress going. You have to step up as the leader.
Some dogs come here with big problems. I’ve seen them leave as trustworthy, happy family members. My approach is about honoring who your dog really is.

My Story
Vicky here. Been at this for 15+ years. My own dogs - Ice, Dre, and the whole squad - they’re family, always part of the action, even when my son’s around. Lost my old girl Gloria, she was my heart. Had dogs with tough backgrounds, some even put folks in the hospital. But seeing a dog change, get a second shot - that’s everything. Happy faces, wagging tails, families healed. That’s why I do it.
My Work
Canine Training & Boarding in Bangalore - We offer puppy obedience games, severe dog aggression rehab, and boarding for all breeds.
Stop The Blame, Start To Train - We build trust and respect, making training fun so you and your dog speak the same language.
Kahu Dog Philosophy - We’re guardians, not owners. Dogs aren’t babies. We honour their nature for lifelong bonds.
All Breeds, All Issues - No breed bias. We work with rescues, reactivity, even blind or deaf dogs. Every dog can shine.
Owner-Dog Partnership - Training works best when owners commit. It’s teamwork, and that’s how real change happens.
