Real Results from Our Dog Training Residency
I do not just teach tricks. I focus on building a connection, burning energy, and creating a dog that actually listens, even when you are out on the road.
The most important thing I teach is focus. Before any command, your dog must learn to look to you for direction. Here you can see this Malinois is completely tuned in, waiting for the next instruction, even on uneven ground. This is the foundation for all good behavior.
This is what that focus looks like in action. I am giving this dog a series of quick commands: Sit, Down, Stand, and Spin. He responds immediately because the connection is strong. We practice these drills until they become second nature.
A tired dog is a good dog. As part of my board and train program, I make sure every dog gets plenty of physical exercise. Here I am on a road run with three dogs, teaching them to move together calmly without pulling.
Training should also build confidence. I use small agility exercises like this jump to make learning fun and teach the dog to be brave in new situations. This kind of work makes for a more stable and well-rounded companion. Aarambikkalaangala?
I train dogs of all ages, starting from when they are puppies. This is a 3-month-old Labrador puppy learning how to heel inside our kennel area. Starting early with my residency program builds a great foundation for life.
A reliable recall is one of the most important skills for any dog owner. I train dogs to come back immediately when called, no matter the distance or distraction. Here you can see this dog running back happily on a dirt path.

The secret is the environment. I do not train dogs in a quiet vacuum. At my facility in Chikkabanavara, I use open fields and public roads to simulate real-world chaos. This way, when your dog learns to heel or stay, they are actually listening to you in the face of traffic and distractions, not just inside a controlled room.
Training is not about sitting in a cage. My approach is simple: I get them moving. Whether it is leash manners on dirt paths or advanced obedience in open grass, I use active, outdoor training to burn their physical energy before we hit the hard mental work. This is why a board and train program works better than an hour a day at home. By living here for 12 or 30 days, your dog stops seeing training as a task and starts seeing it as their routine.
We work on real-world reliability. If I train your dog to stay or come in my field, I make sure they can do it when there is traffic noise or other dogs around. This is the difference between a dog that knows a trick and a dog that is obedient. If you are struggling with a Malinois, a Lab, or a street-smart rescue, the logic remains the same: clear communication, high energy expenditure, and consistent leadership. Namma dogs alli focus nalla barbeku—our dogs should get focus. That is my goal for every animal I work with.
