Most emcees just make announcements, but I focus on the flow of the entire day. I do not just stand on a stage; I am on the field running live commentary for cricket matches, keeping non-players involved, and managing the gaps between activities so the energy never drops.
When I am hosting a corporate sports day or team offsite in Mumbai or Pune, my goal is simple: ensure no one feels like an outsider. It is common to see the sporty crowd take over while others drift to the sidelines. My job is to bridge that gap.
I manage the flow for groups of 100 to 200+ people. This includes running live commentary that turns a regular match into an event, hosting spot games to keep the crowd laughing during breaks, and handling all the logistics of award distribution.
I prefer to meet the organizing committee or the HR team for a quick chat beforehand to understand the company culture. Whether it is a high-energy cricket tournament or a casual team-building day, I tailor my approach by switching between English, Hindi, and Gujarati to ensure every employee feels included and recognized. My standard package covers up to 6 hours, which includes all the prep work, spot games, and the energetic wrap-up where we announce winners.
