About Acoustic & Soulful: Folk, Blues & Fusion
When you're booking an acoustic act, sound balance is everything. For house concerts or venues with more than 30 guests, I always recommend a solid PA setup so the vocals and guitar don't get lost in the room's noise. I bring my own gear for smaller, intimate spaces, but for larger gatherings, let's chat about your venue’s acoustics so I can make sure the music hits just right.
Live music isn't just about playing songs; it's about the energy in the room. Whether you want the storytelling of a Dylan tribute, the harmonies of a Simon & Garfunkel set, or the unexpected blend of Kabir poetry and delta blues with my 'Oorga' project, my goal is to create a moment that sticks.
Why Choose an Acoustic Set?
I’ve spent two decades playing everything from stadium-sized stages to living room corners. The acoustic setup is my favorite because there’s nowhere to hide—it’s just the guitar, the harmonica, and the stories. It works perfectly for:
- House parties where you want the music to be part of the conversation, not a distraction.
- Café gigs or gallery openings that need a soulful, laid-back atmosphere.
- Themed tribute nights where the focus is on the nostalgia of the classics.
What You Get
My sets are flexible. If it's a solo acoustic performance, it’s raw and personal. If we’re doing a duo or a full band setup, we bring in those layers of vocal harmonies and rhythm that define the folk and rock legends I grew up with. With 'Oorga,' we push into more experimental territory, mixing Sufi poetry with blues rhythms—it's a massive favorite for people who want something different.
Logistics & Planning
I perform across Bangalore and Hyderabad. My rates include travel within the city. For technical requirements, I have a clear breakdown depending on the setup (Solo vs. Quartet). Once we confirm the booking, I’ll coordinate directly with your venue contact to handle the sound check and equipment logistics, so you don't have to worry about the technical side on the day of the event.
