Acoustic Music and Soulful Covers for Intimate Gatherings
I trade the corporate grind for an acoustic guitar and storytelling. Whether it's a cozy living room jam or a chill terrace evening in Bangalore, I bring the music that connects us.
Here's my acoustic rendition of "Ettam Pattu," a beautiful rock song by the Malayalam band Avial. I love stripping down heavy songs to their acoustic core.
Tried my hand at a Telugu song from the 2007 movie 'Happy Days'. This one's called 'O My Friend', a classic that brings back a lot of memories.
A quick jam session at home, giving a taste of the soulful music you can expect at my shows. It's all about creating a chill vibe.
My attempt at covering one of my favorite songs, "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle. It's a song about vulnerability and unrequited love.
An original acoustic instrumental piece I composed, which I call "Zero State." This is the kind of music I create when I'm just jamming by myself.
My rendition of the classic Sting song "Shape of My Heart," which perfectly combines my love for both card magic and music.
My take on the George Michael classic, "Careless Whisper." Some songs are just timeless, and I love giving them my own acoustic spin.
A short take of the epic song "Echoes" by Pink Floyd. It's a challenge to cover such a masterpiece, but I had to give it a try.
An imperfect Sunday morning jam of "O (Fly on)" by Coldplay. I've been obsessed with this beautiful track lately.
Reposting an old jam from three years ago. This is a medley of two Ilayaraja classics, "Thenpaandi Cheemayile" and "Thendral Vanthu Ennai Thodum."
About Acoustic Music & Soulful Covers
When I play these acoustic sets, I bring my own portable amplifier, so we do not need a massive sound setup for a house party or a small garden event. I keep the volume balanced for intimate spaces—typically up to 30 people—and mix in original instrumentals with covers ranging from A.R. Rahman to Pink Floyd, adapting the setlist on the fly based on what the room feels like.
For me, music is about that raw connection—the kind you get when you are just a few feet away from the performer, hearing every chord change. My acoustic sessions are designed for spaces where a loud, over-produced setup would actually kill the vibe. Think living rooms, home terraces, or quiet cafe corners in Bengaluru.
I do not stick to one genre. My setlists are a reflection of what I listen to, which is a bit of a mixed bag. You will hear everything from soulful Tamil and Malayalam melodies to rock legends like Pink Floyd and Metallica. I also include my original instrumentals like 'Zero State', which tend to be the quieter, more introspective moments of the night.
Since I provide a portable amplifier, you do not need to worry about the logistics of hiring a separate sound system for smaller gatherings. It is just me, my guitar, and the songs. If you are hosting a house party, a birthday, or just a quiet evening with friends, this setup keeps it low-pressure and personal.
I have performed these acoustic jams across Bengaluru, from Indiranagar to Whitefield, and I am always happy to travel. It is not about perfection or polished stage presence; it is about making sure the music feels real, honest, and perfectly suited to the evening you are planning.
