More Than a Gym: The Community at Omjiujitsu
At Omjiujitsu, we train hard, celebrate together, and grow as a family. Whether you are here for a sparring session or a Sunday recovery, you are not just a member—you are part of the team.
This is what our community is all about. We came together to celebrate a joint birthday for my mother and Moti. It's moments like these that make this place more than just a gym; it's a family.
After a hard Sunday training session, we cool down with a recovery ice bath. It's a great way to reduce muscle soreness and build mental toughness. As you can see, everyone from the kids to Moti enjoys it in their own way.
I asked my students to share some of the things I tell them to do that they'd rather not. From being on time to cutting their nails for safety, their excuses are pretty funny. It's all in good fun and part of our gym's culture.
I always prioritize safety during training, but sometimes things happen when I turn my back for one second. This funny moment with the kids is a good reminder to always be aware, even when you think you're just having a conversation.
Besides the gym, the swimming pool is my other happy place. It's a great way to work on cardio and active recovery, giving the joints a break while still getting a great workout.
We've got new rashguards. Here's a look at the back design, featuring our Om Jiu Jitsu logo. It's great to see our members representing the gym.
Here is the front view of our new Om Jiu Jitsu rashguard. It's important to have high quality gear that you feel good training in.
You can't go wrong with a Flash rashguard. It's a fun way to express yourself while training, and maybe it even makes you a little bit faster.
About More Than a Gym: Our Community
Because we cap our batch sizes at 6 to 10 people in our Sector 46 garage, you won’t just be another face in a crowded gym. You’ll actually know the person hitting the tire or jumping into the ice bath next to you, which makes all the difference when you're trying to push past a limit.
This isn't your standard commercial fitness center with shiny machines and distractions. At Omjiujitsu, we train in a raw, functional setup—a residential garage in Gurugram where the focus is strictly on technique, safety, and tangible effort.
When you join us, you’re signing up for the 'hard way.' That means tire flips, sledgehammer work, and ice baths instead of air conditioning and treadmills. But the real difference is the environment. We are a small, tight-knit group. Whether it’s a shared birthday celebration, a Sunday recovery session, or just laughing through a tough drill, the support system here is built into the training.
I keep the groups small for a reason: form correction and safety. I need to see your movement, and you need to be able to trust the person training next to you. If you are looking for a place where accountability matters more than vanity, and where you'll find people who actually care about your progress, come train with us. We aren't just building athletes—we're building a community that grows stronger together.
