Interactive Block Printing Workshops & Community Events
I bring the 5,000-year-old art of block printing directly to your community, school, or mall. My interactive stations turn any space into a creative hub where you can print your own keepsakes.
I took Amoha Prints on the road to Seychelles. It was a beautiful, calm morning at the Wildflour Cafe where a lovely group of ladies joined my workshop to print on bookmarks and tote bags. I am so happy to share this Indian craft with a global audience.
For International Women's Day, we set up a free block printing event at Garuda Mall. My team and I guided women and children as they chose their favorite blocks and printed on tote bags. It was a day of celebrating creativity and each other.
This fun cupcake block was a popular choice at our Women's Day event. We believe in celebrating the strength and love of women every day, and it was a pleasure to offer this free activity for mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends to enjoy together.
A guest models the tote bag she printed with our cupcake design. Our bags are made from high-quality, organic cotton, making them a durable and stylish keepsake from our community workshops.
Another look at the cupcake-themed tote bag created at our Women's Day event. We encourage everyone to pick designs and colors that make them happy and create something that is a true expression of themselves.
A close-up of the hand-carved cupcake block against a finished tote bag. All our blocks are designed and carved by hand, adding to the unique, handmade quality of the experience.
A glimpse of my stall at the Little Kingdom flea market. It was a wonderful weekend connecting with families, fellow small business owners, and new friends. We offered DIY kits and a live printing station for everyone to enjoy.
About Community Events & Workshops
My printing stations are designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to little artists. I bring everything—skin-safe inks, hand-carved wooden blocks, and premium fabric—so you can just show up and enjoy the rhythm of printing. You do not need any prior art experience, just a willingness to get a little messy and create something truly your own.
There is a specific kind of magic in block printing that machines simply cannot replicate. The beauty lies in the slight variations, the smudge, and the wonky line that tell you a human hand guided the block. When I set up my stations, the goal is to make art an experience that connects people.
What to Expect at an Event
Whether it is a flea market in Bangalore, a school workshop, or an international event, the setup remains the same: inclusive and hands-on.
- The Setup: I provide organic cotton items like tote bags, pouches, or stoles. The table is arranged with organized trays of hand-carved blocks and vibrant, skin-safe, organic inks.
- The Guidance: My team and I are there to guide you through the process. We explain the pressure needed, how to mix colors, and how to layer designs to create a pattern. It is not just about finishing a product; it is about learning a heritage craft.
- The Result: You walk away with a functional keepsake. Whether it is a grocery tote or a pocket square, you have created it yourself.
Why Community Workshops Matter
I believe in sustainability and connection. By choosing block printing for your community gathering, you are supporting a 5,000-year-old craft. We use eco-friendly materials because I want this activity to be as kind to the earth as it is fun for your guests. From corporate team-building events to neighborhood flea markets, my sessions serve as a creative icebreaker that brings people together to slow down and create. If you have a space and a group, I am happy to bring the joy of block printing to you.
