About Celebrating Together: Couples & Family
I don't use rigid, standard poses because they rarely capture how you actually feel together. Instead, I design a scene—like our studio swing or a quiet, high-key setup—and give you enough room to simply exist in that moment. Whether it’s a tender embrace or a shared look, I focus on waiting for the unforced connections that define your specific relationship before the new baby arrives.
My goal is to freeze your story as art, not just a series of photos. When you join me for a family maternity session, we move beyond the generic. I draw on my background in architecture to manage the proportions and the framing, and my experience as a painter to handle the lighting and textures.
How we work together
- Styling: I handle the complete styling for the couple. Whether you want a regal look with traditional sarees or a romantic vibe with flowing gowns from my client wardrobe, we curate it together.
- The Experience: We spend 3 to 4 hours in my Jakkur studio. This isn't a rush-in, rush-out session. We take the time to get comfortable, adjust the poses, and ensure the family dynamics feel natural.
- Creative Direction: For couple and family shots, I prioritize interaction. I encourage you to touch, move, and breathe. If your older child is joining, we integrate them into the narrative, ensuring the portrait feels cohesive and full of life.
Why it looks different
Each image you see here is a product of deliberate editing. I don't just 'snap and send.' I apply my signature painterly edits to specific shots, treating the digital canvas with the same care I would a traditional painting.
