About The Alightian Spirit: Team, Community & Celebrations
When you step into Alight, you are not just signing up for coaching. You are becoming part of a community where seniors mentor juniors, and every small win is celebrated by everyone. Our Foundation Day celebrations and internal leagues are where we bond as a family, which helps our players handle match pressure with confidence when they finally step onto the national stage.
Success is a team effort. We believe that table tennis is a solitary sport only on paper. In reality, the environment in which you train determines how far you go. This is why we place so much importance on the 'Alightian Spirit'.
We don't just focus on the forehand-backhand grind. We build a culture where a 3.5-year-old child and a veteran player feel like part of the same tribe. When one of our players, like Shreya Limaye, secures a major sponsorship from a brand like JOOLA, it is celebrated as a win for the entire academy. It shows every other student that their hard work is noticed and valued.
Our high-performance camps and Foundation Day events are designed to foster this camaraderie. We have found that when players feel supported emotionally, they are more consistent with their training, they show up on rainy days, and they push harder during multi-ball drills. Whether we are hosting an open tournament or a casual team lunch, the goal remains the same: to create an atmosphere where everyone pushes each other to get better.
